As you can see in express 3.0 session id looks like

while actuly you need a shorter version
sessions: { 'fTZNjPuFIIr5sZvXLCwfR/EQ':
'{"cookie":{"originalMaxAge":null,"expires":null,"httpOnly":true,"path":"/"}}'
} }
(the first entry 'fTZNjPuFIIr5sZvXLCwfR/EQ' is real session id)
so you need to use substring to get real session id
data.sessionID = cookies['express.sid'].substring(2, 26);
