First of all, saying "I would fork node" is just an absurdly dated thing to even say as if it's meaningful. There are 2,452 forks of node right now. It's silly to say that you WOULD fork node, if you currently can, and haven't. (I'm getting a 404 from https://github.com/douglascrockford/node.)
