I am wondering if someone could add some perspective to this finding
On a Mac running Mac OS X 10.7.5 and node v0.8.10 I see this:
ahab: node
>console.log(require('os).release())
11.7.4
On a Mac running Mac OS X 10.8.2 and node v0.8.9 I see this:
orbitter: node
>console.log(require('os).release())
12.2.0
