Yeah I am compiling with clang, thanks for the heads up:
$ cc -v
Apple LLVM version 4.2 (clang-425.0.24) (based on LLVM 3.2svn)

What is the long term plan to deal with testcases that are not stable? 
Having tests that are "sensitive" leads to people ignoring the failures.
