Given the evidence that the problem seems to have gone away with this very relevant change, and the fact that this error absolutely never occurred on previous versions of node, I'm going to assume the tcpdump evidence in the earlier thread which pointed to some other problem was erroneous in some way. Thanks for the fix, we may finally be able to migrate away from node 0.6!
