Do you use a framework? Usually there are plugins to make your life easier 
for almost any framework. If you use nodes' built-in webserver, or express, 
you can use https://github.com/jed/cookies but you can also find nearly 
unlimited ressources in this regard here: http://bit.ly/15KAS2e
