Hello all,

I try to install nodejs on a Linux machine without root privileges in a
local directory:

./configure --prefix=/nfs/ccs/local
make

The compilation runs fine without any issues. But a 'make test' gives 100%
failure.

Calling

node -v
node -h

gives the exptected output, but every other call (node -i) or trying to run
a js script simply results in the message "Aborted".

I have tried nearly all of the possible configure switches to no avail.
Now I'm completely lost.

Any hints on how to look further?

Many thanks in advance,
Mario
