When is it wise to raise the default Agent.maxConnections<http://nodejs.org/api/net.html#net_server_maxconnections>limit from 5? What are the risks/tradeoffs?
The discussions/opinions I found on this are pretty old, and even within those answers I couldn't find a clear answer. I have a simple server that is largely a proxy and aggregator for an external API. Each call to my app makes several parallel calls to the external API. My server is otherwise doing nothing else to tax the CPU or raise memory, so I'm inclined to bump up the limit so as not to start blocking once I have just 3 or 4 connections. What can potential problems can I expect?
