Hi all: As some of you might know, I am the author of `GeoIP`, the libgeoip binding for nodejs.
Currently, if you want to install geoip, if required you have the libgeoip C library pre-installed on somewhere in you system, otherwise, this module wont be able to build. But with this way, it caused a lot of confuses for the users of this module. Because it seems a lot of users dose not fully aware of it required libgeoip pre-installed. So I decide to include the libgeoip source code into the module itself, and use `node-gyp` to build, rather than depending on system wide pre-installation. But to be honest, I have virtually no idea how to do so, Can someone kind enough to give some advices on this, or point me to some useful resource or similar node project that I can refer to? -- Thanks -- kuno -- -- Job Board: http://jobs.nodejs.org/ Posting guidelines: https://github.com/joyent/node/wiki/Mailing-List-Posting-Guidelines You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "nodejs" group.
