Hi, Those interested in the current tension about Callbacks vs Promises may want to have a look a some code I wrote to help solve this issue.
Basically, Paroles let you write something like this: "var read = Parole(); fs.readFile( f, "utf8", read ); read.then( ..., ... );" Promise/A+ compliant. Some convenience methods are also provided to implement promises made of steps (creationix/step style).
