No offence, but this looks like a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. 
 Github, or just git in general  does this thousands of times better than 
what this appears to do. I love to see people do cool things with node, and 
this probably taught you a lot, but this project is just bizarre.  You even 
host your project ON github.  While git/github are version control systems, 
they do a fantastic job as a safeguard of your code.  pre and post commit 
hooks can do anything you wish them to do.
