Couldn't you override the end() method to push your last chunk, then call the original end?

Been sitting on this one for awhile and can't seem to figure it out or find anyone that has a solution. I just need to append one more chunk to the end of a stream. At first, I thought I was successful using the "through" module, but for some reason, it kept appending the new chunk in the middle of the stream.
