For those of you who like to live life on the edge, I'd like to introduce my latest module: (https://github.com/trevnorris/buffer-dispose)
I attempted to write this functionality into core, but became too precarious for anything considered stable. So now I offer my work to the world, for those real speed freaks. It was made for a few specific use cases, and in my benchmarks has shown up to 20% improvement with I/O throughput. If enough of the community decides to try this out and we manage to work out the kinks, I just might give adding it to core another go. -- -- Job Board: http://jobs.nodejs.org/ Posting guidelines: https://github.com/joyent/node/wiki/Mailing-List-Posting-Guidelines You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "nodejs" group.
