So that's the key. Coffeescript requires a certain practice. You find that practice to be trivial and of no concern to you whatsoever. Others might feel differently. Once you both agree to that, nothing further really matters: The article states that Coffeescript won't let you do the practice outside of this one way (fact). You consider that way to be not remotely a big deal (opinion), he disagrees (opinion).
