Hi, just thought I'd quickly advertise our open source discussion platform called NodeBB. Check out the demo <http://try.nodebb.org>. We've only been around for a few months but hope to continue making tons of progress.
Our goal is to make a forum that's not only super fast, clean, and responsive... but something that's super easy to extend. We use NPM for plugin and theme installation, for example. For an idea on how customizable the forum is, have a look at this theme<http://staging.convoe.com/>which is currently in development.
