Hi everyone,
I'd like to introduce Sense, a multi-language cloud platform for data
science. You can watch our demo video and sign up for our beta at
https://senseplatform.com. Sense supports NodeJS out of the box, alongside
R and IPython. Node isn't usually considered a data science language, but
it has an ever-growing library of data packages and lots of potential.
At the browser-based Sense console, you can run code and install npm
packages as you could in a local terminal. You can also emit rich HTML and
JavaScript-based visualizations, provision and dismiss worker machines, and
more by doing "require('sense')" and then using the functions documented
here: https://github.com/SensePlatform/sense-js-module . Sense also equips
Node with collaboration and sharing features and reproducible jobs.
If you're interested in using developing powerful higher-level packages
based on these capabilities, we'd love to work with you, please get in
touch!
Anand
