We'd like to publicly announce the latest version of the Concurix Node.js
Profiling and Monitoring tools! http://www.concurix.com
Unlike existing monitoring solutions, we take the approach of automatically
instrumenting and monitoring an entire application, both code that you wrote
plus any third party modules that are included. Simply
require('concurix-monitor’) in index.js/app.js, call the start() function, and
we take care of the rest.
We support instrumenting almost all of the libraries in NPM in addition to your
own application code. We’ve found this approach to be invaluable in really
understanding what is happening in an application, deeper than just the
standard ‘this URL is responding slowly’. Customers have been able to quickly
find and diagnose issues as diverse as excessive file system reads, DNS queries
run amok, flaky performance from third party PAAS api’s, and so forth. One
particularly notable feature is that we can track and analyze callback delays
throughout your program.
Concurix runs as both a profiler and monitoring service, and can be used in
both production and development environments. One common usage is to run
Concurix in production for monitoring, then attach to the real time profiler
whenever there are issues that need to be diagnosed. We offer flat rate,
unlimited server plans to make this a hassle free experience.
