Node.js has got official approval for use within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and there a number of moves to get implementations under way. Many of these are around the use of EWD.js which has been mentioned here by Rob Tweed (robtweed.wordpress.com) and myself (chrispcasey.wordpress.com). I am happy to discuss these off-list if you prefer.
