The first thing that comes to mind is the open-source stack under &yet's 
Talky <https://talky.io/> video chat called Otalk <https://otalk.org/>. The 
standard they're using is WebRTC (more info at SimpleWebRTC 
<https://simplewebrtc.com/>).
