Hello all,

SQL Relay 0.62 was just released, and this release includes a node.js
client API.

See the release announcement
<http://software.firstworks.com/2015/08/sql-relay-062-is-out.html>and SQL
Relay web site. <http://sqlrelay.sourceforge.net>

SQL Relay is a database connection management solution with features like:

   - connection pooling - maintaining persistent connections to databases
   to overcome connection delay
   - database proxying - accessing databases from unspported platforms
(like oracle from a BSD or arm-linux system)
   - throttling - queuing requests to prevent your database from becoming
   overloaded
   - load balancing - transparent distribution of load over replicated or
   clustered databases
   - query routing - transparent routing of DML/DDL to masters and
   distribution of selects over slaves
   - query filtering - preventing queries that match certain patterns from
   being run at all
   - suspended transactions - provides a means for a single transaction to
   span multiple web pages
   - and more...

SQL Relay runs on unix/linux systems and Windows, and supports Oracle,
Sybase/SAP, IBM DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, Firebird, PostgreSQL, MySQL and
SQLite databases, as well as any database with an ODBC driver.

It also acts as a database abstraction layer. When using SQL Relay, the
same node.js code can be used to access any of these databases.

Feel free to contact me with questions or comments.

Take care,

David Muse
