This is true so all trades will have to be for carded players only. Thus it will be more important to HAL to have current players. If for instance Hal gets PNY then non carded players wont be able to be traded. Thought has also been given to maybe a 3 member board that can overturn any of his approved trades. Maybe even a waiver type transaction such as trade offer is made and accepted by Hal and commish thinks it is unfair trade for PNY then he can then place that player on the waiver wire. Once the deadline is pasted then the best offer wins! If the winning offer is deemed still not good enough by the commish then it goes before the 3 man committee for final approval.
just some thoughts off the tip of my head, ROBERT Please note: message attached I do not think HAL should be allowed to trade since he would be unable to value non-carded players. He also can't draft no-card players. I am afraid certain active traders would propose and consummate trades that might really not be fair to both teams or the rest of the league.
