Hi There is no Jack system. All I pointed out was - if we are going to have a five team playoff format, the fairest way to run the playoffs was the 5th place team vs the 4th place team with the winner playing the divisions 1st place team. The winner of that series would play the winner of the 2nd place team vs the 3rd place team series to advance to the championship. Harry suggested it before, and I missed his email. I don't always open all the string of emails sent regarding each subject.
I do not care whether we have a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, team division championship. The larger the playoff system, the more incentive each team will have to play to win. Also, the larger the playoff system, the harder it is to get the playoffs completed.
