I am against going DH in this league.  For many reasons.  First it would be
much harder doing CMs if you are playing AL or NL teams.  Second we would need
to up the AB more because pitchers use up many ABs during the season.  This
means those of us who know how to manage our teams ABs and IPs will not be able
to carry a NCR because of needing to add some ABs for a dead weight player.
Another problem without a pitcher needing to come out for a PH then the
starting pitchers will pitch more innings and thus using up more starting
pitching innings.  This will cause more problems late in the season with
managers having less innings and scrambling for starter innings.  The current
system is working fine and no need to fix it.  Thanks John (north bay)

Subject: AL vs NL or to DH or not to DH

As for AL vs NL - there originally was no discussion of adding the DH.  I
thought it was just a simple way of titling the two leagues.  I find a DH
league is easier to manage a team with your CMI and game playing.  However, I
am fine and enjoy the challenges of the pitcher batting.
