Please add this info to the old website. Also for those who wanted have been
wanting more net play games add him to your list.

By the way John I have been shopping starters so if you would like Hargan,
Leake, or Volstead please let me know.

while there are rules - you would have to check the website for the exact
number - I add my innings and ABs up (separately of course) and divide by 162.
I believe we play 160 games but I always use 162. I want the number of innings
after the draft to be greater than 9 and the more you have the more flexibility
you will have in pitching guys. I try to get a total of 40 ABs or more, again
the more you have the more flexible you will have using players - I also add
each position separately and want approximately 700 per position and 2,000 for
outfield. I try to carry a couple utility guys - one to cover infield and
catcher/other positions. I am not sure - but this league may allow a 10%
overusage per player ABs or IPs.

WE DO USE INJURIES - home team players are out for the number of games or the
length of the current series whichever is lower and visiting teams heal
magically after game. The reason for the disadvantage to the home team - is
that the home team can replace an injured player (call a player up from
inactive roster) on the roster during series and the visiting team cannot. 25
man active roster.

Gentlemen
Thanks for the heads up. Could you send me the updated rules? Is
it 5500 AB's or PA's? It makes a big difference. I also like to see what I
could get for my 1st round pick. There is a time limit to trade with me? I
would not worry about anyone taking adavantage of me. We can draft minor
league, college and high school players? Has the draft started with no picks
being posted? Can I trade picks now ? So many questions,so little time. Let me
know were I stand so I can prepare.

john,
welcome to the league. I'm Dubin Wild Turkeys. I have been here about 3
years and playing stat for about 5. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
I spent about a month rewriting the rules so they are engrained into my head.
Also feel free to ask about anything about trades. The one piece of advice I
have is to be very careful about trading away players with high quantities of
at bats and innings pitched. They are very hard to come by in this league so
they are very valuable. if you trade them away you will find they are not
always easy to pick up.
Also if Robert hasnt told you yet, keep in mind you want to count up your total
innings and at bats. Each individual team is required to begin the season with
a combined total of 5500 AB’s and a combined total of 1490 IP.

Everyone please welcome John to our league as the new Lakeland manager and
those of you who have been playing net play you will love him as he stated
below he loves to play. Remember that there is a waiting period for new
managers before you can trade with him.

John we use a group email [email protected] as it is easier than putting
19 email addresses in all the time and the site keep records of the emails.

Robert,

Thanks for getting back to me. I have looked at the league
site and the team. I am in if you want me. The team needs a lot work. But,I
love to rebuild and trade. I do enjoy net play if anyone is interested. As for
the draft, I would need the password to be able to see who is available. I
think the team has the 3rd pick in the draft.
I will be free late this afternoon through Sunday evening to
draft. Weeknights this week I will not be available until Thursday. Big week at
work and I coach both my sons Little League teams. This will not affect me from
playing games during each block. This week is just more busy than most.
Anyway, let me know if I am in or not.

                                                                 Thanks
                                                                   John
