I try to carry a couple utility guys - one to cover infield and catcher/other positions. I am not sure - but this league may allow a 10% overusage per player ABs or IPs. WE DO USE INJURIES - home team players are out for the number of games or the length of the current series whichever is lower and visiting teams heal magically after game. The reason for the disadvantage to the home team - is that the home team can replace an injured player (call a player up from inactive roster) on the roster during series and the visiting team cannot. 25 man active roster. I spent about a month rewriting the rules so they are engrained into my head. Also feel free to ask about anything about trades. The one piece of advice I have is to be very careful about trading away players with high quantities of at bats and innings pitched. They are very hard to come by in this league so they are very valuable. if you trade them away you will find they are not always easy to pick up. Also if Robert hasnt told you yet, keep in mind you want to count up your total innings and at bats. Each individual team is required to begin the season with a combined total of 5500 AB’s and a combined total of 1490 IP.
