Every year the draft is conducted the 2nd or 3rd weekend in April. Robert
hosts a party in Virginia Beach where many of the original managers are
from and we spend a nerve racking day calling each other and doing the draft.

The draft has progressed to a control draft on the website. Robert still
hosts his party and the last 3 or 4 years we have concluded the draft
during Robert's party.

If this is the weekend of the party - and I am not sure that it is but I
think it is, then we would be expected to be available to enter our picks, no
 matter how long it takes.

(ISSUE #1) - I can set the timer and managers will be skipped if they miss
their pick. A manager who misses his turn can enter a pick when he is
available, but he may miss several players he would have been interested in.

(1 solution) You can use the Auto-Draft feature to set up 15 players - but
you are best to break that up into 3 categories and make 3 or 4 choices -
like choose 1 shortstop out of this list of 5 possibilities, choose 2 relief
pitchers out of this group of five possibilities, chose 3 no-card from
this group, and so on. You will need to prioritize your list. The draft
will automatically choose the first available player on your list -
depending on how you set auto draft. Auto Draft helps you to structure your
draft
and set goals for your teams. However, it will only do as you instruct it
to do so - make sure you set it up the way you want it to run if you are
not available. You are fore warned.

(Issue #2) - I will stop the draft if I see a player entered by a manager
as an uncarded player and he is all ready on the auxilary-uncarded player
list. Worst yet if he is carded or on another team. If you do NOT see a
player on the list that you are interested in --- email me his name or call
me - my cell phone is (815) 735-7670 and I will add the player if he is
available.

I SWEAR I WILL PUT THE DRAFT ON HOLD AND CORRECT ANY PROBLEMS I SEE AND I
WILL DETERMINE WHEN I WILL RESTART THE DRAFT - SO PLAY BY MY RUULES - AT
LEAST FOR DRAFT PURPOSES.

If tomorrow is Robert's party - I will start putting times limits on picks
beginning at 10:30 am or 11:00 am eastern time. I will set 2 or 3 minutes
between picks so you need to be thinking when your turn approaches - you
will need several alternative players because my experience is that the guy
picking before me is reading my mind and I sit there and curse him and his
mother after he took the guy I just had to have.

If you have any questions - contact me immediately.
