I have been talking about expanding the NOMBL rosters for a while now. So due to the min "discussion" I think now is good time to do it. So for the 2011 season the NOMBL will expand to 41 players. Therefore everyone (same draft order as the draft in March) will be allowed to draft 1 more round. Those 2 teams that are under the min. IP will be required to a pitcher that will put them over the min required Those that have not reach the max of 6 NCR are the only ones that can draft another one. Jack if it is too much trouble to add a round to site we can just do it by email. ROBERT

Were you also here when I enforced the rules about overuse for the playoff teams (lost those players for the playoff) it was not pretty and I am not going through that again. The problem with the IP is that some are determined to use ALL IP/PA even knowing that they are on the road or Hal does overuse pitchers. I had N. Feliz with only 31 ip and to make sure I didnt over use him (and lose him) he still had 6 IP left. I finished 1 game out of 1st place. Your are correct we dont need that many inn but at least teams cant say they couldnt help it because they didnt have enough pitching. If your going to complain the least you can do it get it right. As I have already told you privately I HAVE NOT changed the rules! These amounts were in effect last yr and there were no complaints. The innings were changed after the 2009 season because there were so many teams that had overages. Therefore if you were only at 1490 then you were under last yr. Just because you were missed doesn't mean you weren't in violation of the rules. Lou reminded me he had to make a trade over 12 inn under last yr to make the min. Lou ended up trading Rafael Soriano which still upsets him today. He was not allowed to "change" or "pick up IP" by changing his picks from the draft only through trade. Therefore it would be wrong to change (allow that this year). The min were changed several times over the last 4 or 5 yrs and NO ONE had a problem with that until now. Again I SENT OUT 3 group emails stating the min before the draft. I even sent you my answer to your email asking what they were. Anyone wanting to read these can go to the NOMBL group email site as they have a record for each of you until you delete it (I have already resent out 1 of these emails about a wk ago) when you 1st brought up this subj. Website or not (everyone got emails from him and I stating the website needed to be updated/changed and that was 1 of the changes) the emails were sent so there is nothing more I could have done! Why should those that drafted pitchers to make those min be penalized now for following the rules? I honestly dont know how to fairly change that now. I am hope to suggestions on how to change and make fair to all. . In this time i have had no player go over usage. I understand that this year we will play 2 more games, 162 vs 160. In the unlikely event both of those games went 20 innings Buffalo would still be below 1490 innings. As we already had 1525 innings there was plenty of innings to spare. </div><div> I mean no disrespect however in light of this i ask why so many ( 60 ) minimum innings were added for just two more games and why was the constitution changed without an owners vote. I have been going over other teams constitution's on our Flory website and believe it's time to bring our's up to date and believe a group of 3 or 4 owners should be appointed to do so.
