When we held our draft Hultzen was low to off most peoples
radar and not even listed on Baseball Americas top 100 prospects. He
subsequently had a great 2011 and went 2nd overall in the recent Major League
Draft.
2011 regular season stats: 10-3, 1.59 ERA in 14 games. 96 1/3 IP,
66 H, 17 ER, 16 BBs, 136 Ks
He is in the process of leading #1 seed Virginia to the collage world
series title. In all likelihood this pick would not have been made when we
held our draft. We need to put a procedure in place - such as reclaiming from
the team involved's pre-draft cuts - that would be more appropriate.

Therefore it was researched and found that the Tides drafted him in round
8 (4 rounds after he was drafted). So therefore he has decided replaced
him with UVA LHP Danny Hultzen. This will be corrected ASAP (since a change
before everyone has made the change will make it impossible import game
files, etc).
