Hey guys,
I really labored over sending this email and will move on after the fact but I
have a hard time being told that my trades came in after the deadline.  This
league is famous for moving back CM deadlines  and getting games played and
being flexible with the rules over and over again.

Then I am told that Bob's confirmation came in 4 minutes late in a Clint Barmes
and some 8,9,and 10 picks.  Strictly to help me stay away from overuseage can't
happen.
Then Chuck sends a trade at exactly 4pm and in the paragraph below I state that
I confirm the deal, but since I didn't send a seperate email it doesn't count
either?
I know we have to have deadlines(which we don't seem to keep and I am one of
the issues i realize it) and I realize Robert you have a tough job policing all
of this, but I don't see anything whereby the commish can't rule to accept the
deals as stated and move on.
Or for that matter just go ahead and extend the deadline to midnight and make
your trade with Bob.  TRADING IS GOOD FOR THE LEAGUE.  KEEPS THE PLAYOFF TEAMS
TRYING TO GET READY FOR THE STRETCH RUN AND KEEPS THE TEAMS WHO AREN'T DOING SO
WELL THIS YEAR BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE.   I believe we did that a couple years
ago as well   OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS WE ACTUALLY GOT SOME COMMUNICATION
WITH SOME OWNERS WHICH SHOULD BE FOSTERED.
I believe we give the commisioner the right to make special case decisionsf.

We should either be 100% follow the rules all the time or allow the commisioner
flexibility to make decisions for betterment of the league if no collusion is
involved.
These trades weren't going to hurt anything by accepting them.

Robert thanks for your work and hearing me out.  You have a really tough job:-)

Regardless of decisions I will continue to be proud to be in this league.

resending to put all concerns to rest.  As Bob can tell you I also wished it
had been midnite as he sent me offer 3 mins before deadline that I would love
to make but couldnt as not enought time to meet the deadline.

Also I can remember the last time (if ever) that we have had so much trading in
such short period of time.

 I really am sorry,
ROBERT

Deadline for games to be in are due in exactly 1 wk (or the  30th).

Trading deadline for trades in same as MLB (4 PM on July 31).  The trades have
to be recd and confirmed by the 4 PM deadline so dont wait until the deadline
to annouce as I doubt all the things listed will arrive in time.

North Bay sends Logan Morrison, Vin Mazzaro, and Tim Byrdak to Brooklyn for
Dallas Braden, Elmer Dressens and Ben Francisco. Ray to confirm. This year I
am going for it. Still need more relief so if someone has a reliever for trade
i have draft picks available. Thanks John
