46,401 fans were treated to a fine game at Jacobs Field as only one run
separated the combatants at game's end. The Pennsylvania Maulers won by the
slimmest of margins, 7 to 6.

Both teams had scored 4 runs after nine full innings. Pennsylvania came out
the victor in the 19th inning. After an out was recorded, Danny Valencia
drew a walk. One out later, Darnell McDonald stepped in and he doubled
resulting in an exciting win for Pennsylvania and a raucous post-game
celebration by the home town fans. Geneva out-hit Pennsylvania 18 to 14, but
Pennsylvania ended up with more runs.

Wade Davis(5-12) got credit for the victory, pitching 3 innings and allowing 2
runs. The losing pitcher was Kyle Davies(4-16) in relief. He gave up 3 runs
in 2 and 2/3 innings of work.
