Robert i don't mean to rehash however i just spent an hour
breaking down trades and putting some thoughts down to words. Was just about
to
press send when screen froze and all was lost. So please bear with me.
Anyway's to sum up. We should form a four member trade review
panel with if their willing the two league presidents. Robert could chose two
more from a list of volunteers( include me on such list). This would save
some of Robert's time as he would only need to get involved if the vote was
tied or someone on the panel was involved in a trade and were recused from
the vote. The trade could be pending 24 or 48 hour approval. By the way if
i would have approved as this trade gives Tidewater one of the deepest
pitching staffs in the league and allows him to use his remaining picks to
build up his offence.
Brandts suggestion on a 2 or 3 round pre-draft to replace the stink
draft thus giving all teams a chance to build AB's or IP's also makes sense.
I was born and raised within cheering distance of the old
Buffalo War Memorial Stadium affectionately referred to by those in the know
as
"the Rockpile". I left the area for three years (Navy) came back and now
live a similar distance from the current stadium. It is with the pain of a
missed game winning field goal as time ran out on what turned out to be the
first of four championship game losses in a row, that i congratulate the New
York Giant fans. It was one of the hardest hitting championship games I
can remember. Hope it adds enjoyment to your day.

The other league I am in uses yahoo group and we get league wide emails.
But when we hit reply the email only goes to the person who sent it, and
you have to hit reply all to send it league wide. I am so use to that. Is
there a setting on google groups to do that? Sure would help alot from
unintended emails going league wide.
We could consider switching to yahoo group if this can not be changed. we
are all adults in the league, We could make the switch if we all paid
attention. But I can not imagine that yahoo has better features for their
groups than google. I hope it is just a simple setting. This would really
help
us.
