I have been taken to task for not fining teams that were late per the rules!
Last month I just sent file out w/o the late cmi (was only 1 I think) and had I
thought of it I would have again. He was correct I should have and will issue
a warning this time but from here on out here are the rules and we r suppose to
fine as follows: 4: Fines for violating the NOMBL Constitution:4.1: Fines from
violating any rules of play can include but are not limited to:A)Draft
picks:The first draft removal will result in a 10th round pick loss. The second
in a 9th round pick loss. The third in a 7th round pick loss etc.B)Playoff
disqualification or playoff player eligibility.C) Expulsion from the league.
4.2: Common violations of rules to watch out for:A) Over usage of
players. Over usage is defined as any player that exceeds 100% of hisat bats or
innings pitched on his card.(Multiple fines are possible if more than one
player is overused)B) Repeated failure to send in game files ontime (extensions
may be requested but must be confirmed from the league)
C)Repeated failure to send in game and print files with the correct file names.
D) Purposely editing another teams CM to gain an advantage. 4.3:
A Warning for a rule violation are at the sole discretion of the Commissioner
and are not required before a fine is handed down to a manager.4.4:
Probation:A) If repeated violations are made by a manager, the commissioner may
opt for a probation period that will require the manager to comply with all
league rules for a period of 3 calendar months. B) Probation is to be used as a
last resort before expulsion from the league. If any rule violations are made
by the manager during the 3 month the manager will be removed from the league
and his team will be opened for a new manager. C) Probation is not required
before expulsion from the league.4.5: All violations attached to a team are
removed when the manager loses possession of his team.4.6: Fines are submitted
by the Commissioner. The handing out (or not handing out) of these fines are
made in his best opinion and in accordance of keeping a fare and equal playing
field for all managers. It is in his opinion if he wishes to console with all
the managers in the league on a suitable fine for a manager(s).4.7: All
situations not covered by this constitution are the responsibility of the
commissioner to resolve. The commissioner has the right to consider extenuating
circumstances in the application of any fines contained in or out of this
constitution.
