Thanks. Here's what I do, it's effective and versatile enough that I've
never felt the need to implement and more formal export function.

I just create a track in Non Timeline called Export, and connect its inputs
to the outputs of my Master strip in Non Mixer. Set a playback cursor ([
and ] to set edit region, then Ctrl+Shift+L to convert that to a playback
cursor), then enable Freewheeling mode, arm the track and the master
record, and hit play. Boom, there's your export. And yes, you will have to
go looking for it in the project/sources directory, but it's easy to find
because you can see the filename on the region label and, also, it'll be
the newest file in the directory. Also, I like to set the session capture
format to wav f32 before exporting so that I don't have to worry about
having the levels just right to avoid clipping. After that I use SoX to do
whatever sample rate conversion and dithering I need.
