Unless I've missed it, there doesn't appear to be a way of locking regions in position as in Ardour's "Lock Edit" mode.
One problem related to this is that when right clicking on a region to bring up a menu (to change fade in/out type for example) the mouse cursor goes into "move region" mode after the menu operation is completed. A left click on the region is then required to switch the mouse cursor back to normal, but it's easy to overlook this step when in a hurry. The region then follows the mouse cursor around the timeline window. I suppose the obvious answer is "don't do that then", but it would be helpful to be able to lock regions in place in order to avoid this kind of accident. Is this technically feasible? John
