I think I'm either missing something fairly obvious or else I'm trying to impose my Meeting Maker background onto Outlook. We have several conference rooms that I've set up as resources in MSExchange 4.5/Outlook2000. It works fine to invite the resource to the meeting and get the meeting room scheduled in that fashion. However, in the past we just used a public calendar to schedule rooms, so we always had that main calendar that listed what was going on in all the rooms.
If we change to this "schedule a resource" method, is there any way to view what's going on in the rooms without doing File/Open/Other User's Folder for each of the conference rooms' personal calendars? We could deal with having a separate calendar for each room, but if they have to open another user's calendar folder each time they want to know more than free/busy time, rather than just scrolling down to a public folder, I don't know if that is going to fly.
I know you can publish the calendars to a web page, but we don't have an intranet yet and this seems like s silly reason to set one up. Can you publish the calendars to a public folder? Or is there another way to make this easier for people?
Thanks,
Ruth Dodson
