[noragging] Your Attitude Should Change

Dear Ajay and Jennifer,     It seems you and Jennifer are good people with some outmoded thinking. In India 99.99% of the people believe in God. No one says that you should not beleive in God, or preach good things about God. The problem comes when we start differentiating as our God and your God.     Preaching about a your religion is always good. This gives an opportunity to others to  know the good points about your great religion. The bad things start when you try to undermine greatness of other religions.        CURE is essentially meant to eradicate the evil of ragging. If you want to speak about God and good religious values in relation to this problem, it is always good inspiration and motivation to others.     The 'all or nothing' attitude of missionaries often brings unpleasantness to others as well as to themselves.
     I personally know many people who are interested to know about your religion. But when they notice your attitude of 'come this side or stay that side'. They are turned back. In other words your attitude is turning them back OR your are just slamming doors on their faces.     The right attitude would have been 'you can practice your religion as well as some our beliefs'. This can fetch you more followers than all or nothing attitude.      You should seek more members, not converts. Then only you thoughts will spread bringing good to others.     If you can present your thoughts in a way that is useful to the cause of CURE, your presence adds to the strength to the movement.     "Everyone commits mistakes.
