Hi Friends, I am really sorry for being so infrequent in meeting you here as my internet connection was out of order. Anyway, I am always there with full enthusiasm and dedication to the War Against Ragging. Unfortunately the C.U.R.E. West Bengal-cum-Kolkata chapter's first official meeting that was scheduled to be held on Sunday, 12th March, 2006 had to be postponed (to end March or early April). As confirmation could not be sent to the members regarding meeting and to some of the members regarding postponement, I attended the venue in that time to tell , if any member would come. But as confirmation regarding meeting could not be sent to any but many could be sent confirmation regarding postponement, none other than myself was there. We shall send confirmation to the members for the coming meeting. The chapter has its medical cell ready with famous Psychiatrists and Psychologists who are ready to help any victim, free of cost. Work is going on to establish the legal cell where lawyers would offer similar helps in fighting legal battles in courts. I thank each one of you, specially Vidya, Sachin, Harsh , Dhruv, Mohit and Sunil for their strong moral support to me when I was greatly confused over how to launch the Book Fair campaign (that made the chapter a 60 plus one from a 3 member one),and over the postponement of the meeting. Since Harsh has left for abroad, I got no news from him. I shall be thankful if you may please provide me some about how he is and how are his works going on. I am missing a great friend. His experiences will help us(C.U.R.E.) when he returns. I also thank you , each end every C.U.R.E. member for the united fight we are engaged in. But may I please give my suggestion, for SOME people whose messages drew my attention, to keep religion apart from our agenda and our goal. Though I personally don't believe in religious differences (these man-made differences weaken us, our unity and our mission in any aspect of life), whatever may be your faith, PLEASE DON'T USE THIS PLATFORM FOR PERSONAL INTERESTS. These may also weaken us and so we must stay UNITED whatever be our faith. Opting out of a United Group with Definite GOAL , for the purpose of religious propaganda does not seem to be a good decision. PLEASE think well, concentrate on your goal. You may play different roles in different places but don't mix them up. We need to be focused to be successful in any mission of life. So as C.U.R.E. is not a religious body , PLEASE RESPECT EACH ONE'S FAITH AND PLEASE DON'T FEEL OTHERWISE, WE ARE HERE FOR THE COMMON MISSION TO ELEMINATE RAGGING.
Next I would like to request you to please send a copy of your mails to me, if you want to send a personal or private mail, to k u s h a l _ k o l k a t a @ y a h o o . c o m (REMOVE THE SPACES IN- BETWEEN). I shall feel great if I may try my level best for a friend of mine, known or unknown. PLEASE don't suffocate yourself with a problem, if someone is ragged or tortured / victimized in any way IT IS NONE OF HIS/HER FAULT.
