In which channel cure got slot? that hotel management guy(2005)
suffered terrible ragging ,it was not ragging it was high degree of
torture,why dont you present his case in tv if he is ready, or we can present
these cases anonymously

This is a very urgent and important mail to the CURE members, including

I know sending this mail in this way doesn't look nice, but considering the
importance it may have in our struggle against ragging, I don't find any other
option but to send it in this way.
CURE- West Bengal is very likely to get a slot (30 min - 1 hour) in a popular
TV. programme very soon. It will be an interview-based programme where a
ragging victim (even if the ragging had occurred few years back) will be
interviewed and eminent psychologist(s) (and psychiatrists and/or other eminent
persons) will speak against ragging. It will be an opportunity to send our
message (including information about CURE) to the large number of viewers.
Though CURE has performed such TV. programmes in the past, where our members
have spoken bravely against ragging, in other areas (eg. Delhi), CURE-WB (still
not a year old) does not have any such member with us who is / was a victim of
serious or at least moderate ragging.
CURE-WB appeals to every CURE member to assist CURE-WB in this issue (if
anyone knows any ragging victim who may be interviewed on TV- it will be a
pre-organized show, so every difficulty may be addressed, if any).
CURE-WB also invites you to join the West Bengal Chapter of India's leading
anti ragging group CURE (Estd.2001) if you are from West Bengal.
