Fascinating, Harsh. I read each word in these slides and the corollary between the prison experiment with guards rings so true with the college situation and ragging by seniors..even normal people dont think twice about dehumanizing freshmen, and indoctrintating them into carrying out the very same actions the nedxt year as a form of "revenge" to make the transformation complete.
In fact I think you try try and contact Stanford to see if similar experiments have been carried out later and whether they can assign a research analyst to the task. I think the experiment can very easily be done and the results should be made public to make the naive public morea aware of some the stereotypes surrounding ragging that never seem to die.
