Dear Friends,
I, the communication Head of CURE West Bengal Chapter, am feeling
great pleasure to state that, today, a renowned book publisher of Kolkata
namely, has offered to publish a book on ragging & related issues.
So, in this great occasion, I am inviting all of our CURE-ians to
submit their writings to publish in that book.
It may contain:
1. Articles:
a. any broad writing on cure & ragging.
b. any personal experience on cure & ragging.
c. any special advices to the parents, new comers & the students 10+2
std. being prepared for entering in college in next educational-year.
d. any advices to protect oneself at the time of ragging / tips.
e. all other writings that belongs to this category.
2. Cases & Case-histories:
Not the self-cases i.e., the cases faced by yourself. Write cases that
you have heard about others in any media: TV / Internet / radio / newspapers /
books / magazines etc.
3. The ragging archive:
Must be up-to-date & accurate. It may be from any level viz., local /
zonal / national.
4. Any newspaper / magazine cuttings:
If you don't know "what to write" / "how to write".....but, you have
some news about ragging in "newspaper cutting" / "magazine cutting", don't
hesitate, just make a scan of that copy by scanner, mail it to me. We will
manage it.
5. Chapter Details:
You can also send the "chapter details" of the chapter details, that
you belong to. It must include:
a. Name of the Chapter.
b. Name of the Head / Co-ordinator and the communication head of the
chapter.
c. Permanent address of Chapter.
d. All contact details of the chapter(postal address, web presence,
active phone nos., mobile, active mail ids etc).
e. The list of name of the members(write both active & inactive
specializing each).
Points to remember:
1. All the entries should contain these things:
a. Full Name.
b. Full Postal Address.
c. Working mobile number(s), land number -- both including STD code.
d. Working e-mail ids(general yahoo / gmail / rediff / others and if
you own any "noragging.com" id, that is a must).
e. Chapter Name(eg. West Bengal Chapter), with the post(co-ordinator
/ head / communication head / cashier / others).
2. All rights of the writings will be reserved by CUREWBChapter.
3. Names & other contact details will be hided while publishing them in the
original book if requested. So, if you have that problem please mention it at
the begining of your mail.
Hurry up!!! We don't have enough time in hand as we wish to publish it in the
month of July. So, send all your mails within 3rd May'2007 before 12p.m. with a
subject :"Book-2006".
