suspects who were produced in courts on charges of having assaulted a
group of seven freshers who were against ragging, that no one was above
the law and the law of the country had to be abided by everyone
irrespective of whether they were university students or any one
else.The suspects were earlier identified at an identification parade
and Kandy magistrate Harsha Setunge said he was releasing them on bail
considering their status as students.
