Police said as per the direction of the Madras High Court, cases were registered yesterday against the students for ragging a junior from Kerala and against the principal of the college at Thookanaickkenpalayam for not taking action. Abijith's father had filed a petition in the court a week back, stating that police had not taken any action against the students who ragged his son.
