According to a news report (The Asahi) here, the government of
Israel is banning any reports that identify the commanders (and
soldiers) who participated in the recent attacks in Gaza and also
banned any overseas travels of those individuals for the time being.
This is because, it is reported, the government is afraid of those
commanders being arrested and prosecuted in foreign countries.
It also reported an incident in which a retired two-star general of
Israel had to return to Israel to avoid arrest upon arrival at an airport
in London a few years.

It seems that the Israeli government knows how unpopular their
actions are in most countries around the world. I suppose that
few countries which supported the Israeli attacks are also well
aware of this fact, I suppose.
