Just rename back now from plugins_bak to plugins,
Then remove Explorer.dll.
Please let me if it works.

That's because of "doLocalConf.xml".
The presence of this file makes n++ read/write from/to its installed dir,
otherwise
from/to application data dir.
Just copy your userDefineLang.xml into notepad++ will solve your problem.
(or remove doLocalConf.xml, then copy all the xml file into your application
data dir)

Thanks donho, you've developed a very good editor. I love using it so much.
But there's one inconvenient.
I've written web sites in Japanese and use Npp++ to view html source.
The problem is when I copy HTML source into Npp++, Japanese character is
displayed
correctly. But in IE7.0 as I click view source then the page source is displayed
in npp++ with ANSI encoding, which make Japanese characters displayed
inproperly.
Even then I adjust the format to UTF-8, it wouldn't help.
So I wish I can set default Encoding to UTF-8, so that I can view page's source
in Japanese.
thanks in advance.
Khoa

Hello,
I love Notepad++
Thanks for all.
One question about plugin:
Is it possible to do a plugin for ftp transfer, when I save my file, it
is autmatically transfered by ftp on my web site, a little bit like pspad or
something like that.
Thanks.
Best Regards.
Ben

Hello,
I haven't checked the code, but I do see a potential error here:
or ( ; i < int(strlen(cmdEntier)) ; i++)
{
if (cmdEntier[i] != ' ')
cmd2Exec[i] = cmdEntier[i];
else
break;
In this snippet of code "i" is NOT initialised.
Of course if "i" is initialised by the declaration it is OK.
Best regards,
Karsten

In the functions list-plugin, when viewing old-style c code, the functions
doesn't
show.
Once upon a time, code was styled as this:
int
main(argc, argv)
int argc;
char *argv[];
{
...
}
instead of the modern:
int main(int argc, char *argv[]){
...
}
For a working example, lookup the source for cron.

Yes, indeed it is not supported and it will not be supported.
This doesn't work also:
int main (
int argc,
char *argv[]
)
{
}
This depends on scintilla regex search.
Best Regards
Jens

Maybe I'm missing something, but it appears to me that N++ doesn't do folding
levels. If I am right, should it? Or is this really more for word processors
rather then text editors?
Let me explain what folding levels are about...
In N++ I can define '+' as a folder open and '-' as a folder close, and then
write the following.
+1
+2
+3
-3
-2
+2
+3
-3
-2
If N++ supported folding levels then I could define '+1' at level 1 and '+2'
at level 2, etc.
Then I could write.
+1
+2
+3
+2
+3
etc.
Where a "+2" closes all lower level fold points (eg. +3 as well as +2).

First off, I would like to say that I am really liking your editor so far, and
am now using it as my primary text editor. However, there are several bugs
with Verilog (some of which are quite easy to fix).
1. The localparam instruction is missing in the langs.xml file
2. The .v extension is not associated with the Verilog language by default (also
fixed in the langs.xml file)
3. All the keywords listed in the "type1" category of the langs.xml file for
verilog appear to be unaffected by syntax highlighting. At first I thought
it might be because they weren't alphabetized, so I alphebitzed them, but that
didn't fix the problem (after which I noticed that the keywords on some other
languages aren't alphabetized, but still highlight correctly). Everything I
tried was unable to get these keywords to show up. Finall, I just added them
all to the list for the "instre1" keywords, and they now work correctly (though
the highlighting show up the same way as the keywords in that section,
obviously.
I tried messing around with the stylers.xml file as well, but was unable to
get any syntax highlighting to affect those keywords. I might be missing
something
obvious, but if I am, I'm not sure what it is ;).
4. Not really a bug, but Comic Sans is a very irritating font for the comments.
It's easy to change, but I seriously think this should be removed as a default.
That's just a matter of personal opinion though, and given you set it up this
way, I'm sure you disagree with me ;).
Anyway, thanks again for the great editor. The single best feature for me is
the seperate scroll bars when doing vertical split (amazing how many text
editors
have vertical split, but both halves scroll at the same time, making it useless
for editting on dual monitors).
