Thanks for your reply and also your works on the plugin, its greate.

I think the reason of why users don't known there is a "Ext" column in the
Explorer
plugin is the default width of the docking windows. When I open the 4.0 RC for
the first time, I only saw the "Name" column and just think that the extension
will show with the file name (i.e. "abc.php")

Some other problems on the behaviour of Function List & Explorer plugins in
4.0 RC:
1) In 3.9, when the focus is on the plugins (i.e. the plugins' window is
active),
I can press Ctrl + N to open a new document. But in 4.0 RC, I can't do that,
there is nothing happen when I press Ctrl + N. Is it possible to make it act
as 3.9?

2) In 3.9, It will go to the corresponding function when I press Enter on a
function in Function List, when it don't work in 4.0 RC

Little Bug in Explorer:

After renaming a file, the new name is not displayed. After a click with right
mouse button on the old name the system crashes.

I installed Notepad++ on my Acer PC ( Windows XP Professional, Version 2002,
Service Pack 2. AMD Turion 64 Mobile). I tried installing both with
npp.3.9.Installer.exe and then with npp.3.9.bin.zip.

It installed OK, but I am unable to bring it up. I get a System Err pop-up
window with the message "Element not found".

I saw some old postings with this problem, but no one explained how to solve
the problem.

Can anybody help?

Thanks,

Zebulah

i need to run an external tool which needs the filename without the extensions
as input. I have read the help file but all the env vars include the file
extensions.

I would like to second the motion of having a "Print Preview". This is a common
feature in almost all windows applications that has printing specifications.

You have to press the update icon. It's up to you to avoid a crash ;). But I
try to find a solution.

Best Regards
Jens

this feature does not exist ,at least i dont know ,
but you can do it yourself,,
define a macro and then assign it a shortcut.

Agree. To use rectangular selection right, you first have to determine which
is the longest string in the future selection, and start selecting with cursor
on the longest string.
I vote for this feature, too!

Is it possible to show and hide the explorer by cliking on an arrow(like in
dreamweaver to have a larger space of work) ?
