Anyway, one thing to note is if you highlight text that contains certain
characters,
like quotation marks or ampersands, the parsing will do funny things and you
may not get the exact string passed that you thought you would. For example
if I try to highlight some text that says...
Command name="search selected text in Google"
...{Command name=search} will be entered as the google search term and firefox
will try to open selected.com, text.com, in.com and google.com.

Since it's a joke... unnecessary, yes. Will I quit using the program? No. There
is no editor even *close* to matching the power of Npp at a comparable size.
Even if I went so far as to "fork" the project, it would still be the same
program...
what's the point. It's not like he's making money on it.

btw. For all of those trashing the "right" here. Don't throw all right-wing,
conservatives, christians, etc. in the same basket. Since they took some space
to trash it, I'll take a little space to reply.
I'm about as right-wing/ faith-based as they come. Since the topic is sex,
I've seen certain people after all the sex they can handle... and it's not
enough.
Christianity is not the weak kneed, judgemental, no fun, etc. that it is made
out to be. Jesus was none of that; that's people messing up. I'm not a
naturally
religious person, but there is something to Jesus (not religion).
"Nobody" is human, and he reacted as such. Give him a break. He's trying to
do what he thinks is "right," and he's not *forcing* anyone to do the same
thing.

Hi, I've just looked at v3.9, so this might be already fixed for v4.0 final,
but:
The find algorithm seems to have problems with wraparound lines: if the display
position for the found string is set to top or middle, the line I'm looking
for is 'displayed' off screen somewhere... This happens only with 'big'
documents,
the ones with lots of wraparound lines.
Other than that, excellent stuff. Don Ho, you're an inspiration to us all! :)

Why should he relax. Do you know how frustrating this little glich is when you
are proessing MANY files? You should be able to select a default extension and
a default file location. Ths seems like a simple request to implement and I
have seen several
requests fo this funtionality.

Hello,
thank you (!!) so much for new NP++ version 4.0.
Since I upgraded from NP 3.9 to 4.0 (installer) I have two rigth-click Explorer
entries here.
One 'Open with Notepad++' and another 'Edit with Notepad++' (the latter with
NP++ icon, due to NP v4.0).
Question: How to get rid off one of those?
