I liked to use Notepad++ as an external editor. It was stared from current
directory
by console process and target file was specified as a command-line argument
(without the path, just the file-name). After upgrading Notepad++ from 3.8 to
4.0.1 it stops working: The new Notepad++ just claims about the non-existent
file and offers to create it. "Remember the last operation directory" option
is unchecked. Any ideas?

Hallo,
I'm trying to edit the stylers.xml and langs.xml because I like to add a
functions
style to python. So I add
<WordsStyle name="FUNCTIONS" styleID="13" fgColor="FFFFFF" bgColor="111111"
fontName="" fontStyle="1" fontSize="" keywordClass="instre2" />
to the stylers.xml file and
<Keywords name="instre2">len int range</Keywords>
to thelangs.xml file. After that I delete stylers.xml from %APPDATA%\Notepad++
and run npp.
Now FUNTIONS is a menupoint but doesn't work.

I am using notepad++ to work with files on MVFS (The Multiversion File System)
used by ClearCase views. Very often when I open a file, notepad++ just opens
an empty tab as it can't read the content. After few attempts, the file
eventually
opens. There's no such problem when I use other editors. Any ideas?

when enterin plugins , explorer----explorer opriton, and the try to close window
or to save the settings i have this : program has encoured an error and needed

Can't reproduce this bug, because bug report is bad! What's your OS, which
version
of Explorer and Notepad do you use? Did you something more than to open and
to close the Option dialog?
