I have this same problem with HTML, sometimes I try to collapse a DIV and it
closes the whole HTML file. I think the "collapse" feature is buggy, because
my HTML was validated and passed.

When I was doing some CSS, I did the CTRL+SPACE after a colon, and it gave me
every option available, even ones that dont go with LIST-STYLE-TYPE.

No big deal though, It was my first time trying out this method, i have most
things memorized anyway, but if it could speed me up a few seconds it'd be nice
;)

1) A black background theme that is selectable in Options. Crimson Editor does
this. It would mean you would have to maintain another theme but I think it's
something very important.

2) Allow us to pick the 4 languages it will colorize. Not everyone will use
PHP and ASP together, I would like to pick PHP, CSS, JavaScript and HTML, while
others might want something else, this should be some kind of option.
(others have agreed on this one, here is a post about it)
http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1416465&forum_id=331754

3) Option to allow F3 to search whatever you have currently highlighted. Another
cool Crimson Editor feature :p

If you're running via a server you may not be able to replace it without doing
it on the server itself. Otherwise try searching for notepad.exe as the
previous
user mentioned. Make sure it searches in hidden files/folders too.

I gather that this isn't fixable in Win 2000. I would welcome an option to turn
off icons altogether as I find them very distracting.
I notice the that wrong icons even extend to the file/save dialog.

The standard for this in many editors (including Scintilla) is to use three
open braces for start of fold and three closed braces for end of fold.

So something like:

//{{{ Variables
variable 1;
variable 2;
variable 3;
//}}}

Which would fold down to a line that looks like:

//{{{ Variables

since v4.0 heredocs are highlighted gray only, prior to that they were
highlighted
similar to hml code: a very much helpier way to work with heredocs. Is there
a way to highlight the heredocs properly again?,

I am using FORTRAN77 for a civil engineering course at a major University and
I have been using NOTEPAD++ to edit my f90 files. I have found some annoyances
with the "autotabbing" that is implemented. When tab is used, since FORTRAN
relies on the column number for locations of line numbers and regular program
statements, keywords aren't highlighted. Is there a way to make NOTEPAD++ use
NO highlighting without individually setting all the values in the style
configurator
(for filetype: f90) to be black text with default font style.

I was sold on it until I realized I'd have to go edit my file types to be able
to view a file in my browser.

Would it be possible to have an announcements mailing list to report new
releases
of NP++ and it's plugins?
