It will be implemented direct in next version of Notepad++.

Hi, from Colombia:

I?ve been trying to set the default path to open files to edit but I?d not
found the way.

It means, I use n++ (Much more than anybody believes over another editors) to
edit php scripts. When I begin a new session and try open or create a file,
n++ always is located on the path of n++ installation.

I would like every time I need open a file or create a new one, it locates at:

c:\new_default_path\to_php\scripts

Thanks a lot.

I made my donation (It was good).

Does notepad++ support immediate or timed auto-saving? I hate losing my notes
when Windows bites the dust and I just need a utility that will auto-save notes!
I really like the power/interface of Notepad++ given my initial exposure to
it, but I won't use it without this one feature...

Thanks!

I know is been discussed, but it mentioned older versions in the discussions.

Can we add a new WordsStyle to the php language in the stylers.xml and new
keyword
list to lang.xml and have the new words work? or is this still not possible
for PHP.

I went through the process and even though the new name appear in Style
Configurator
it does not apply the colour to the new keywords.

Thanks for such a great program.

When I installed N++, I didn't choose to make it the "View Source" default in
IE because I wasn't familiar with the program yet. Now I do want it as the
default. Is there a way to change that? I've tried entering this in the
registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Microsoft > Internet Explorer > View Source
Editor > Editor Name > (Default) = C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe

But that just opens N++ without opening the file. Adding the parameter %1 to
the end just causes an error.

In Firefox, I get the same problem when I open about:config,
set view_source.editor.external to true, and then set view_source.editor.path
to C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe

Any suggestions?

That just edits the registry the same way I did. And the result is again that
N++ opens, but doesn't load the code.

I can find tabs by copying the symbol and pasting in the Search or Replace box.
Go to View > Show All Characters. I use this to replace spaces with tabs. Hope
that helps.

I would firstly like to thank everyone involved with this project, you are doing
an excellent job !
Now, the main point of me writing.
In many examples of Notepad++ documents I see, html code has different colours.
Why, when I create mine, is it only in black and white ?
I save it as html and use IE7.
Many thanks !
Jon Chubb

i noticed that the comment/uncomment feature works great for knowing which type
of comments to use however the 'uncomment' doesn't work for html
comments...maybe
a feature request/bug fix
