I would like to have an option to auto save the open buffers upon switching
task away from Notepad++.
A sub option to ignore new buffers would also be good.

Is there an extension of the BATCH language file to cover the keywords and
folding
for JPSoft 4NT/TakeCommand scripting language?
I'm unable to handle the folding with a user defined language.

Is there a plug in that allows for searching keywords in a language specific
help file?
Otherwise it would be nice to add this feature in future versions.

Is there any chance of someone recompiling the binary of this plugin using Don's
suggestions above so it will work until Alph is able to bring out the enw
version.
It's a fantastic plugin but I cannot use it on the majority of PCs I use due
to this error.

I downloaded NotePad++ on my home PC last week. It has no Explorer Plug-In.
I didn't have the known previous bug of losing the focus when returning to NP++
anyway (with only the main window). I would have noticed that bug if it would
be there also.
When I have a window on top of NotePad++ like the Find dialog, this dialog
doesn't
get the focus when returning to NP++. The active tab does. I don't think this
can be caused by the fix for the Explorer Plug-In (it is not on my PC). But
of course I would like the Find dialog to get the focus again when I return
to NP++.
I do notice that when I open the Find dialog and press ALT+TAB to switch to
another application, NP++ is the first in the icon row as usual, but also NP++
is the selected item. This means that when I press ALT+TAB only once and release
it, NP++ is still the active application. But it also has lost the focus on
the Find dialog already then. Perhaps these events are related.

I have NotePad++ configured to open the source HTML files from Internet
Explorer.
It does apply th HTML language setting then. I had this file still open when
I closed NP++.
When I started NP++ again today, the session including this file was opened
again.
Only, now the file wasn't shown in HTML language mark-up.
It seems the language information isn't stored for the session files.
Could you include the language information to be stored for the session as the
files are?

I went to make Notepad++ the default notepad but it's not working.
When the popup box came up I put "Okay" for both times it came up, in the
instructions it only said to say okay on the second one.
What do I do?
Also, it says to add a key to the registry, where in the registry do we
do this?

Had the same problem requiring a reinstall to reset - found out that
the AppPosition 'x' value was way off in the config.xml. Mine's currently:
<GUIConfig name="AppPosition" x="150" y="116" width="748" height="495"
isMaximized="yes" />
Hope this helps!
Ade

It seems that Notepad++ tries to verify the location of the files in history
when starting (unless this setting is checked). Checking this box certainly
speeds-up loading time if you've had network files open and then try to run
notepad offline...
