Steps:
1) Using your mouse, highlight a formfeed/carriage return by starting at the
end of one line and highlighting to the beginning of the next line.
2)  Control-C to copy
3) Control-H to open the Replace dialog box
4) Click in the Find What box
5)  Control-V to paste the formfeed/carriage return
6) don't put anything in the Replace With textbox
7) Click on the Replace All button.

That gets them all.

Terry

Install the Explorer plugin. If you want to load a file from the same folder,
you can click on the Explorer toolbar icon "Folder of Current File" and voila,
you have like the same behaviour.

Best Regards
Jens

Vorweg:
Also bitte "?bernehmen" statt "Ausprobieren". Und das Ausrufezeichen auch gleich
weg...

Und die deutsche Beschreibung des Default-Stils ("Hinweis : Diese
Stil-Definition

Hier meine Vorschl?ge
Bearbeiten:
Clear read only flag -> "Schreibschutz aufheben"

Notepad++ Home -> Notepad++ Webseite
- OK

Directory -> Suchpfad , Pfadangabe, ?
Find them all -> Alle suchen
- "suchen" kleingeschrieben. ?hnlich "Alles ersetzen". Vielleicht sollte man
Alles Gefundene?

Einstellungen - Kopf und Fu?teil:
Variable -> ???

Einstellungen - Farben u. R?nder:
WYSIWYG -> wie angezeigt

Einstellungen - Diverses:
Clickable link setting -> Klickbare Links

Backup Option -> Sicherungseinstellungen, Automatische Sicherungen, ?

<Item id = "1635" name = "Alle Funde in allen offenen Dateien Ersetzen"/>
"ersetzen" klein.

<Item id = "2214" name = "Standard ext:"/>
<Item id = "2216" name = "Benutzer ext:"/>
<Item id = "20009" name = "Ext :"/>
"Benutzer-End."

Nur als Beispiel
<Item id = "22413" name = "Pr?fix Modus"/>
<Item id = "23301" name = "Kommentar Zeile"/>
- Im Deutschen schreibt man einen Begriff entweder zusammen, also
"Kommentarzeile"

<Item id = "4009" name = "Unterst?tzte End."/>
<Item id = "4010" name = "Registriete End."/>
(s.o.). Aber es muss
vor allem "Registrierte" heissen.

<Item id = "6306" name = "Maxim. Gr??e des Datei-Verlaufs:"/>
- "Max." reicht vollkommen.

Don,
4.1.2 is my first experience using N++ and I love it. Many kudos to you and
others that contributed to this wonderful tool! This is definitely my new
favorite
Windows power-toy. I have been using Crimson Editor, but N++ is definitely
a much better application. Possibly the greatest thing since sliced bread and
indoor toilets. Thank you for all your hard work!

I was actually curous about this myself.

When trying to solve this regex problem -- I tried using an extra "\" in the
replace to 'escape' the "\" before the "b" in the replace -- (\index{\\bf \1}
-- but it still translated the \b into a BS resulting in "\index(\BSf <text>)

(Where BS = special character (backspace I think?)

Does anyone know how you could insert a literal "\b" into a replace, without
tagging "\b" from the search, and just refferencing it in the replace?
Basically,
if "\b" was not in the original text -- how could I insert it, in a regex
search/replace?

I have a common problem in Notepad++ where a document will scroll up every time
I switch to its tab. This bug seems to have been around for a long time, because
I was experiencing it under a version several months out of date and updating
to 4.1.2 did nothing to fix it. This one problem makes the program unusable
as my primary text editor. It only seems to happen when clicking on a tab, not
when using CTRL-TAB (but I never do that).

I am having that exact same problem now. The built in VB language does a much
better job than I can, but I can't see where it is defined. What I can find
should not worked based on what I have learned using the user defined language
dialog.

A response would be nice.

Make sure * is not an operator. If it is, you can't use it as a comment char.

I could be wrong -- but, as far as I can tell - I think the built in langs,
highlight is a more complicated way, than the user defined allows. -- I
finnally
just gave up on being able to fold the language I use, and just made a highlight
scheme for it.

Why do you want to create a custom scheme for VBS? If you just want to change
the text color/formats, for the existing groups, you can goto the "Styler
Configurator" under the settings menu, and adjust that. (you can also add words
"word" group.)

If that's not what you want -- I hate to say it -- but I think the user defined
sytax highlighting, just isnt as powerful as the built in stuff.

I have suggested that it atleast be made to work with regex's, but don't know
if anyone really read it. :/

Please, answer me soon.
